Why Men Join
A man does not come here to become someone else
He comes to become more fully himself. The Rite offers three things, and asks something of a man in return for each.
Brotherhood
Men who arrived as strangers become the friends a Brother calls first — when a child is born, when work is lost, when a wife is ill. Some of ours have stood together sixty years and more.
Education
The degrees are not entertainment. They are lessons in philosophy, history and moral courage, conferred by Brothers who spent years learning them well enough to teach.
Service
Our RiteCare Dyslexia Center served more than 150 children in greater Kansas City this year, at no cost to their families. A Brother’s dues do that.
